Two Harbors Mooring Reservations & Fees

Here's how it works

  1. Every Thursday at 8PM, availability will be loaded for the coming weekend. Inventory will be available until the following Monday.  
  2. A $25 booking fee will be added to all applicable mooring fees during regular weekends (see fee schedule below).   
  3. Additional booking fees may incur on holiday weekends, including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Buccaneer Days. 
  4. A 2-night minimum stay is required during regular weekends. Holiday weekends require a 3-day minimum stay. 
  5. The Harbor Department can extend your stay in Two Harbors after check-in. 
  6. You need to book online using this link: Mooring Reservations. 
  7. Reservations are non-refundable and guarantee a mooring within a specific cove.   
  8. The Harbor Department reserves the right to reassign your mooring at any time. 
  9. This system can be used for the coming weekend only.  

    ** Please note: Catalina Island Company and Two Harbors Enterprises do not handle mooring reservations for Avalon. Please contact the Avalon Harbor Department for Avalon, Descanso and Hamilton Cove moorings.

Course Settings

For centuries, sailors have sought refuge in the protected harbors that make up the Two Harbors area. Catalina Harbor, on the windward side of the island, is the only natural, deep, all weather harbor in between San Diego and San Francisco.

Land & Marine Services

Shoreboat service is available year-round in Isthmus, Fourth of July and Cherry Coves. Scheduled runs to Howland’s Landing and Emerald Bay are available during the summer months. Shoreboats monitor VHF 9.

Skiff Rentals

Catalina Island’s sparkling coastline offers some of the best ocean fishing anywhere. Sea Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut are just a few of the varieties of sport fish waiting for your bait. Skiff rentals are available from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Boat Moorings

Catalina Island’s location just off the coast of Southern California makes it a boater's paradise. And Two Harbors on the west end of the island is one of the most popular destinations for many SoCal boaters.

Mooring Sites

Situated at the Isthmus of Catalina Island, Two Harbors is considered a cruiser’s paradise. With over a dozen nearby coves, landings and harbors offering 700+ moorings and anchorage options, it's easy to explore all the west end has to offer.

Accessible only by boat or kayak on the island's leeward shore, Catalina's boat-in campsites offer truly secluded coastal camping experiences.

  • 7 AM to 2 AM Daily in the summer

Check-out is 9:00 AM.  Late check-out available for an additional fee. Note: Fees are based on the size of boat the mooring can accommodate.
