"From the minute they pick you up at the dock in their Mercedes van, until they drop you off to catch your boat home, no request is too big for the staff. Everyone is assigned an electric golf cart with their room, this is huge, because of the location on a steep hill, walking would take up a lot of time and energy."
"I can't rave about this place highly enough. We were there for a family wedding & had the entire place to ourselves. From the beautiful grounds to the comfortable accommodations to the spectacular views - just astounding! But the real gem of the place is the awesome staff who take such conscientious care of you without ever feeling intrusive."

"This was our second stay at Mt Ada, and though there seem to be some changes afoot in terms of ownership and management, none of that affected the experience of our stay. The home and grounds are beautiful, as you might expect, and, within the context of it being a truly historic place, it is also well maintained with attention to the period during which it was built and used. "This was a uniquely pleasant experience at a superb historical residence overlooking Avalon, with a steady sea breeze on the room balcony to keep the temperature mild during the hotter ("dog") days of late Summer. “The inn at Mt Ada on Catalina Island is a bucket list vacation for any romantic. William Wrigley Jr. built and stayed in this 6 room mansion overlooking Avalon Bay. There’s real history there, and the staff will make your stay a lifetime memory. Brandon was the main concierge, and attended to our every need. Christian and Pierre waited on us like we were royalty. Consider the fact that breakfast, lunch, wine and cheese and a golf cart are all included in your room pricing. You will be so glad you stayed there. We got married there!”
