Cape Canyon Tour
An Off-Road Adventure Into The Island's Beautiful Interior
Experience Santa Catalina Island’s “outback” in a comfortable, open air, 12-passenger Mercedes Unimog—a one of a kind off-road vehicle. With spectacular views, wild habitats and educational displays, this is truly a unique tour.
This tour ventures up from Middle Ranch Canyon via Cape Canyon, all the way to an elevation of 1,300 feet. You’ll see the Middle Ranch habitats of the American Bald Eagle and Catalina Island Fox. Then it’s off to the Airport in the Sky, where you will enjoy a complimentary lunch and visit the Conservancy Nature Center’s educational displays.

Classic Inland Motor Tour
The Best Of The Island’s Interior
Originally offered only to VIP's, this comprehensive tour takes you 31 miles through the heart of Catalina's rugged interior. You'll travel in a comfortable, '50's Flxible bus, restored to its original streamlined beauty. This memorable journey follows the 1800's stagecoach route (you will see portions of the burn area from the May 2007 sland Fire) then you will continue through Middle Ranch, where you will enjoy the Native Plant Nursery and the Catalina Island Fox habitats.
Your journey continues onto the beautiful windward shoreline and up to the Wrigley Arabian horse ranch, El Rancho Escondido. This is the only tour that visits the newly remodeled El Rancho Escondido. At the ranch you'll enjoy the extraordinary collection of Bohlin Saddles, carriages, and Wrigley family memorabilia. Shop for unique gifts at the Hidden Ranch Store and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Returning to Avalon you'll visit the famous Airport-in-the-Sky and Conservancy Nature Center.
